Amsterdam
Dockland Housing
Sarphatistraat Offices - Steven Holl Architects
Heather and I took the bike tour on our final day in Amsterdam. We rode out to the docklands to check out the three fingered peninsula-like development out on the water. The dutch will dress anyway they want, and build anything they want. For crazy modern architecture buffs - it's heaven.

Mary Hill Museum
Heather and I got married at the Mary Hill Museum in the Columbia River Gorge. There is a sweet piece of sculpture on the grounds designed by Allied Works. Crawling around and through the piece gives you perspectives like this.

Looking Back
Four years of employment here now . . . hmm.
This shot is entertaining because, while it is not the official TVA Architects bug, it is remarkably similar. This is actually the Tennessee Valley Authorities logo, but a co-worker of my wife recieved this cool clock upon her departure from the latter organization. She passed it on to me because she gets a strange kick out of the similarity in the logos, and evidently feels compelled to give me her "TVA" stuff. Reguardless, it is a pretty cool object.
